The Inclusivity of the Gospel

There is a mistaken view about Christianity in our culture. Some of it is due to the poor representation of some of its followers, some due to the fact that none of us wants anyone to tell us what to do. "I Did It My Way" is the theme song of humanity.

Look where that has got us.

The Bible is the ONLY religious book that backs up its' words with proof-evidence that can't be refuted. In the 66 books that make up the Bible, written by over 40 people, inspired it says by the third Person of the Triune God, the Holy Spirit, are prophecies. Many of those prophecies have been completely fulfilled, and others are in a queue about to be fulfilled.

ALL of the prophecies about Messiah's first coming have been completely and perfectly fulfilled in the Person of Yeshua, Jesus of Nazareth. There are eight times as many for His second coming. You can check out the mathematical "chances" of just 8 of those hundreds of prophecies concerning Jesus' first coming on the link below.

So What?

Because the Bible validates itself through specific, fulfilled prophecy, we can trust what it says when it comes to the precepts and commandments it gives. We can trust it when it clearly tells us that the ONLY way any of us is going to end up in "The Good Place," is by following its instructions.

Oh, I can hear the groaning right now, but stop and listen for a moment, please! Due to our broken ways of thinking, we wrongly believe that being a follower of Jesus is all about following rules: "Do this! Don't do that!"

It's not about a list of man made religious do's and don'ts where we somehow, hopefully earn our way to Heaven. It's about a Person we put our trust in, because like the title of this article honestly states:

The Gospel is Inclusive

Here's how it's inclusive:

  • All of us have sinned and fall short of God's glory

  • Not one of us is righteous

  • We ALL fail to do the things we ought to do, and do the things we shouldn't

Jesus tells us the best news! There is NO way that we can earn or deserve salvation. He's done all that is necessary to save us when He died on the cross and rose again from the dead.

All any of us has to do, because the Gospel is INCLUSIVE, is to believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose again from the dead, effectively paying for all of our sins, all of our guilt and failures and put our trust in Him.

That's the truth. Jesus said that HE is the ONLY WAY, THE ONLY TRUTH AND THE ONLY LIFE. There is no other way to the Father, to eternal life, to Heaven. You have the freedom to reject Him, but know that in doing so, you are choosing to pay the penalty of all you have done wrong and the right that you failed to do, yourself.

The Gospel is INCLUSIVE!

ALL who choose Jesus and put their trust in Him will be saved.
